Whose Behind this Online Bible Blog?

Marcia was a principal of an afternoon religious school and the Director of Family Education in Toronto, Canada before moving to Israel. She has a Master’s degree in Curriculum Planning from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education from McGill University.

As a result of Marcia’s poetic abilities and her background in education she has written Enjoying Genesis: The Bible in Rhyme, Enjoying Exodus: The Bible in Rhyme and Enjoying the Book of Esther: The Bible in Rhyme. These are true to the Biblical books but written in rhyming couplets. It is a fun way for the whole family to read Bible together. Preteens and teenagers will find these books a great stepping stone to the Bible itself. The many adults who are turning to the Bible today will find these book non-threatening and enjoyable to read.

Who Is Enjoying the Bible Blog Site For?

This site is meant for homeschooling families and those families who want to spend some time around the dining room table with Bible questions.

This site is also meant for Bible teachers, seminar leaders and educators who are not afraid to to use creative thinking activities based on the books of Genesis and Exodus.

What are Bible questions?

Simply put, Bible questions are questions that arise from reading the Bible. It is hoped that these Bible questions will not only help as Bible study tools, but as a way to look at ourselves and for our children to look at themselves in a new light.

There was a time when families would read the Bible together in front of the fireplace or around the dining room table. Learning the Bible was a family activity. This site is meant to help modernize family Bible time and help make it easier for families to discuss the Bible with their children.
