Improvement for the New Year

Let us all try to be better people

This Sunday night Jews all around the world celebrate the beginning of a new year. A new year brings introspection, something that we can all use if we do it openly and honestly. Introspection should have three elements to help us truly take a look at who we are and how we can improve.

We should look at our relationships with (how we treat):

  • Others
  • God
  • Ourselves

These are the three things we need to work on. Simple? No, not really, but by taking a look at our deeds and thoughts in these three categories we can all become better people to ourselves, others and come closer to God.

If we all just improve in one little aspect in each of these categories this year, the world will be a far better place to live!

Happy New Year to all my Jewish readers – and to everyone – success in your mission to become a better person.
